Assistant Principal Announced for Palo Alto High School
We are pleased to announce that Dr. Kevin Skelly, Superintendent, will recommend the appointment of Todd Feinberg to the Board of Education at its June 24, 2008, meeting. Mr. Feinberg will serve as an Assistant Principal at Palo Alto High School. He fills the vacancy created by Mr. Chuck Merritt's move to the El Carmelo Elementary School principalship.
An alumna of Palo Alto High School, Feinberg is excited to be returning to the district where he was educated and first worked as a teacher. Mr. Feinberg began his teaching career in 2001 at J. L. Stanford Middle School as the opportunity program teacher. In 2005, he was appointed Dean of Students at Ralston Middle School, Belmont-Redwood Shores School District. In 2007, he was moved to Assistant Principal at Ralston Middle School.
Dr. McEvoy, principal of Palo Alto High School, shared, "It is great to welcome Todd back to his alma mater. His knowledge of the school from a student's perspective, along with his energy and enthusiasm will certainly help him make a smooth transition to his new position. We are really looking forward to having him join the Paly staff."
Mr. Feinberg earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and Economics from University of Puget Sound and his Juris Doctorate law degree from University of California Hastings: College of the Law San Francisco. He earned his administrative credential through Santa Clara University and was awarded his Masters, Administration Education in 2005.
Mr. Feinberg and his wife live in Palo Alto.
