Math Adoption Committee Seeks Feedback

The middle school textbook selection process includes providing the opportunity for members of the parent community to review materials selected for consideration by the District Math Textbook Selection Committee. 

Materials will be available for review and input from January 12 through January 23, 2009 at the following locations:

BACKGROUND A committee of teachers, students, and parents is currently reviewing the sets of Math materials that have been approved by the State Board of Education. The committee will recommend the particular materials which will eventually be used in Palo Alto Unified. The selection process includes the opportunity for members of the community to review the materials that the committee has selected for the next step of consideration and provide input to the committee. The committee will consider this feedback as it determines its recommendation. There are three sets of materials for review: Glencoe, Holt, and Key Curriculum Press* (*Grade 8, Algebra 1, only).
